Aims & Scope

Pedagogy Forward publishes scholarship that both theorizes and transforms classroom practice. We welcome work that advances understanding in:

• Curriculum design and implementation; pedagogical theory.
• Teacher education, professional development, and reflective practice.
• Educational technology, blended and hybrid learning design, and digital literacies.
• Assessment, evaluation, and learning analytics applied to pedagogy.
• Inclusive education, special educational needs, equity and diversity in learning.
• Comparative & international education, policy impact on classroom practices.
• Classroom-based research, action research, design-based research, mixed-methods and narrative studies.

Scope: Teaching & learning theory, curriculum studies, teacher education, educational technology, assessment & measurement, inclusive pedagogy, comparative & international education, policy and school improvement.

We value methodological rigour, clear pedagogical implications, and contributions that speak to researchers, practitioners and policymakers.

DOI, Archiving & Preservation

• On publication the Version of Record will receive a DOI minted via Zenodo.
• Publisher deposits copies and metadata with Internet Archive, and PKP PN for redundant preservation and discoverability.
• Machine-readable metadata and licence fields (CC BY 4.0) accompany every deposit.

Publication Fees & Waivers

Open Access is free for readers. The Article Processing Charge (APC) on acceptance is USD 200 per accepted article. Waivers and discounts are available under the publisher’s APCs & Waiver Policy. APCs do not influence editorial decisions; waiver requests should be submitted at the time of submission.
