Medora publishes original research and evidence that directly informs clinical practice, biomedical science and policy. Topics include:

  • Clinical trials and clinical research (all specialties)
  • Translational and bench-to-bedside studies
  • Diagnostic innovations and evaluation studies
  • Therapeutics, pharmacology and comparative effectiveness research
  • Public health, epidemiology and health systems research
  • Medical education, simulation and assessment studies
  • Systematic reviews, meta-analyses and evidence syntheses (PRISMA encouraged)
  • Case reports and clinical case series (with appropriate consent)
  • Reproducibility / replication studies and data papers

Scope: Clinical medicine, biomedical research, translational science, public health, health systems research, diagnostics, therapeutics, clinical trials, case reports, medical education and evidence synthesis.

We welcome interdisciplinary submissions with clear methodology, reproducibility materials and clinical or public-health relevance.

DOI, Archiving & Preservation

  • On publication the Version of Record will receive a DOI minted via Zenodo.
  • Publisher deposits copies and metadata with PKP PN for redundant preservation and discoverability.
  • Machine-readable metadata and licence fields (CC BY 4.0) accompany every deposit.

Publication Fees & Waivers

Open Access is free for readers. The Article Processing Charge (APC) on acceptance is USD 80 per accepted article. Waivers and discounts are available under the publisher’s APCs & Waiver Policy. APCs do not influence editorial decisions; waiver requests should be submitted at the time of submission.
