IJPIP aims to advance knowledge and practice at the nexus of governance and public policy. The journal welcomes high-quality submissions that include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyses of intergovernmental arrangements, cooperative governance, and federal–local relations.
  • Studies on public service design, delivery, and performance management.
  • Comparative research on institutional reform, decentralization and capacity building.
  • Policy design, policy implementation, regulatory governance and legislative processes.
  • Public finance, fiscal decentralization, and budgeting for service delivery.
  • Innovations in public administration, digital governance, and e-governance.
  • Practitioner perspectives, policy briefs, and case studies with transferable lessons.
  • Interdisciplinary approaches combining political science, public administration, law, economics and development studies.
  • We welcome both theoretically grounded and empirically robust manuscripts that offer clear implications for policymakers and practitioners.

  • Publisher deposits copies and metadata with PKP PN for redundant preservation and discoverability.

Publication Fees & Waivers

Open Access is free for readers. The Article Processing Charge (APC) on acceptance is USD 50 per accepted article. Waivers and discounts are available under the publisher’s APCs & Waiver Policy. APCs do not influence editorial decisions; waiver requests should be submitted at the time of submission.
